I use to order everything from metro…

I use to order everything from metro style I get compliments all the time for my pants outfits leather and corduroy pants suits they don't make them like that everywhere I look the clothes are not attractive.so sad they are gone because they had clothes that where different.

I hate to see Metrostyle go

I hate to see Metrostyle go, especially since I had an approximate $50.00 credit and not aware they were going out of business until now. Although, I did love their clothing and don't know where I will be able to find reasonable, stylish tall clothing.

MetroStyle was the only place that I…

MetroStyle was the only place that I could get tall fashion clothing that was affordable and didn't look cheap. Clothing in tall sizes locally were very expensive and small tall sizes hard to find. Those stores have since went out of business long ago and Metrostyle was my store. But in the last two or three years I noticed Metrostyle did not have dresses or suits in tall sizes. I hate to see Metrostyle close I was always satisfied with their fashion/merchandise and if there was a problem they had wonderful customer service. Sorry to see you go.

I have shopped with Metrostyle for…

I have shopped with Metrostyle for years and have been very pleased with the styles, quality of material, length, price and customer service. I have received many compliments on all of my attire. I am 5’11”, until finding Metrostyle, it was very difficult to find clothes long enough for me. I aIso like to wear heels periodically. Metrostyle clothing was always long enough. I read that Metrostyle will be back in about 20 days. I truly hope so.

METROStyle has gone out of business and…

METROStyle has gone out of business and it appears Chadwick's is closed for a re-branding. I will say this for myself, though it doesn't matter anymore because they are closed, I bought EIGHT genuine leather jackets from Metrostyle on their final sale: 70% off, and I think I went through a rebate link. I forget. I paid around $20 apiece for eight genuine leather jackets. So far, they fit well and are gorgeous. Sorry about other people's experiences. I've bought a lot of stuff from Metrostyle through the years and a lot didn't fit, but am happy with these, even if they are final sale, no return. I'm always kind of sad when a business finally fails, but nothing lasts forever.

Very sad to see Metrostyle go

Very sad to see Metrostyle go. I've always had a great experience with them. Returned and reimbursed with no problem when necessary. I always get compliments on their clothes and loved that everything matched, pants with shoes or tops. Their pants fit perfectly which is always difficult for me. Had some of them years and they have washed and worn well. Very sad to see them out of business. Wish everyone had the same experience and maybe they'd still be around. 😞

I had a good experience with…

The metrostyle.com /Lerner's NY women's clothes /ONLINE, will be coming back for 2022-23. This is good to hear. I had a good experience with MetroStyle.com catalog. Also, I'm hoping for improvement in shipping delivery and items availability.

I really really hate Metrostyle going…

I really really hate Metrostyle going out of business. There clothes fit well, the quality was good and the price just right. I will absolutely miss Metrostyle. I ordered a lot of clothing for Christmas and would have ordered more if I’d known they were going out of business.

Loyal Customer

I have been ordering from Metrostyle for years and have always had a great customer experience. Yes, I agree some of the clothing quality is does not justify the price; specifically, the majority of the clothing items are not lined, making the material too thin and sheer, the shipping is too expensive and delivery is long. That's why I recommend waiting on clearance/special offers and sales. However, I have always been able to return or exchange items with no hassle. It does take a couple of billing cycles for your refund/exchange to appear on the billing. I always get compliments on the clothing at home and work. Overall, I would still order from Metrostyle.

Gonna miss shopping here.

I'm sorry to hear that Metrostyle has gone out of business! 😔 I basically bought Dress Shoes, Sandals and Booties because of color and the size fit well. What I didn't like was: The Dresses were too long. I'm only 5"2'. Because I am a 44D, the Blazers were too small (unless) I bought a size 24. Now it looked too big on me. "Chadwicks" practically had the same items. Other than that? I was satisfied with their Footwear.

Order shoes at you own risk - if using return label its UPS no Post Office

I have ordered clothes several times in the past, (because of tall sizes) & it had been a while since I ordered anything but so I decided to order some shoes, boots to be specific (was excited getting ready for fall/winter season)
Received my order on a Friday -disappointed I ordered calf length boots black & got burgundy ankle boots 3 size to small.
I asked customer service reps & supervisor for a compromise since it was their fault that wrong item was sent & what I ordered was no longer avail in my size-- no satisfactory compromise was made. Then I was stress & worry that my package was lost, the return label said USPS (Post office) so that's where I return it to, several days letter I track it & see its still sitting at post office waiting on UPS to pick up. If I would've know it was ups (united parcel Serv.) label I would've dropped it off at ups to save 1 week return time (it took 2 wks. to get to return destination)

new ownership = NO usable credits or gift cards!!!!

Now that Metrostyle is under new ownership, no merchandise credits or gift cards from the prior ownership period are valid. I had $126 credit that I was told would never expire and now am told by the new owner that it is not usable in any way. Is this even legal? I will be looking into that very issue. This is not fair and I will never shop with them again. Buyer beware!!!

What Happened to the great selections?

I recently discovered that Metrostyle was back, up , and running. I was extremely excited as the clothing, styles, and various ranges in size/ lengths were exceptional for me as woman with longer legs.

I must say in my opinion that with the new ownership also came less appealing clothing in every aspect. What happened to the great items that made Metrostyle so great? The new selections are very few, and what you do offer now does not even come close to the old Metrostyle! Why ruin a good thing?

Congratulations to the new owners however on your newly attained ownership! So disappointed that I will no longer be a customer.

I miss metro

Wow, I didn't know! I put on a pair of shorts and I love them and said to myself ‘I need more of these great shorts!!!’ only to find Metro out of business. 😔

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

Total joke of a company. Nothing is ever in stock, most items are very cheaply made, they DO charge you shipping on returns and good luck getting a refund. They are masters at giving you the run around, they tell you that you don't understand , they are just the worst online experience I have ever had!!! Just save yourself & don't order from them or Chadwick's which is their sister company. The size chart is all wrong , the clothes way too expensive and very poor quality. I regret ever using this company.

Cheated.

I ordered, through a customer service rep, some pink cargo pants. I needed them for golfing in chilly LA so I paid $24 to expedite shipping. I received a completely different pair which I returned at the cost of an additional $7.50! I requested a full refund, plus shipping as IT WAS THEIR ERROR! My credit was not even for the full cost of the pants. Have tried calling their customer service line but keep getting an error. I feel cheated and I don't appreciate it one bit and would go pantless before ever ordering from this company again. So many other reputable companies from which to order!
